SeaPerch Program

SeaPerch is a nationally recognized, innovative underwater robotics program that presents an engaging platform for developing student interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematical) fields. Independence Seaport Museum proudly serves as a mentoring, assembly, education, and testing facility for local teams.

In addition to mentoring several teams participating in the annual SeaPerch Challenge, the Museum provides access to a testing tank for any nearby team participating in this year's challenge to use for practice. The Museum's tank is available for 2 hour, pre-reserved segments for $50 per team, per use. Payment is non-refundable and reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. One team will be booked for each available time slot.

SeaPerch teams interested in using the Museum's tank, or learning more about our program support, should contact Assistant Director of Sales, Alexis Furlong at 215-413-8622 or afurlong@phillyseaport.org
